Edvaldo Assis

Born in 1941, in Santo Amaro da Purificação, Bahia.

Visual artist, studied at Escola de Belas Artes in Bahia.
In his creations, he highlights the architecture of Salvador and the cities of the Recôncavo by imprinting his own style on his favorite themes: documenting life and buildings, houses, streets, fairs and sea houses.

With a painstakingly technique expressed onto many of his canvases, in the smooth lines, and undefined lines, in the multiform perspectives that predominate in impressionism, the beautiful and spiritual light of Bahia, appreciated like a travel through his paintings.
