Patricia Purdie
Brazilian artist born in 1965, São Paulo.
Patricia Purdie was immersed in art due to family influences since her childhood. She began her own artistic journey in 2014, exploring various mediums including watercolors, oils, ink, collages, and 3D projects, but acrylics became her passion. Her diverse portfolio spans figurative, abstract, and geometric art. The years of experimentation paved the way for her recent works, showcasing a clear progression in style and technique.
From ink drawings to large canvases, experimenting with textured backgrounds and parallel lines, her intuitive approach yields captivating results. Since her debut, Purdie has exhibited in Brazil and Europe. Exhibitions have been in São Paulo, São Caetano do Sul, Embu das Artes, Santo André, and Porto, Portugal.
She has also contributed to fundraising events for charitable causes with Fundação Anglicana and Graded School in São Paulo.
